Sonic Prime is an animated television series based on the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series. The first season, comprising eight episodes, was released on Netflix on December 15, 2022.
Tails Nine (or “Nine” for short): Tails’ counterpart from New Yoke City who was constantly bullied for his twin tails, so he created seven more mechanical tails in order to get revenge on them.
So due to a series of events, I’ve been drawing Nine from Sonic Prime since Spring 2022, BUT only shitty doodles on paper in sketchbooks… I had been wanting to try my hand at atleast ONE digitally drawn Nine… waiting… waiting……
Then Winter 2022… the show finally came out!
Satisfied after a very fun watch party (I have to say tho, there should have been more Nine scenes in the first season!) I immediately flew out to buttfuck nowhere Canada to spend the winter holidays with family. As usual the experience plays out like this: Going outside… or even trying to go to a cafe will 100% always lead to a situation where the car would need to be plowed out of snow OR me freezing and rocked off my ass by the -40 degree weather.
So stuck inside… in the span of those 2 weeks I found myself with too much time to draw and my passion for Nine and Sonic made me implode.. bro… I woke up after the New Years with a pile of Sonic/Nine fanart (SonNine? is there even a ship name man idk).
In the spring I spent some leisure time to clean and color a few drawings… the rest are still in sketch form but eh I’ll share all I have for your enjoyment. Idk when I’ll post these on socials (or if I ever will…) Ah alas… still, enjoy my SonNine explosion!!!
