Revelation is the supernatural communication of truth to the mind; inspiration (q.v.) secures to the teacher or writer infallibility in communicating that truth to others.

Shout out to revelations for being the best chapter in the Bible. Being a kid growing up surrounded by religion had a huge impact on my life. Whether it be on my knees between the pews, family prayers after dinner , a holy vision of Jesus shining on the TV, or the placating music emitting from the speakers in aunts and uncles car when I carpooled with my cousins to school… one couldn’t escape the spirit of the Lord.
Now, while most people have told me they had fallen prey to side-effects such as catholic guilt or hearing the Lord talking to them through radio signals pulsating from the invisible antennae’s over other people’s heads (big shout out to my childhood school bff), to me being religious just felt like being a part of the Jesus Fandom. The Holy Spirit was my bias, every one of the local fans meet up every Sunday, and hey, who don’t have a major crush on the J-Man at one point or another. Then the updates peter out, you’ve reread the source materials so many times it’s like you’ve memorized the entire manga (Bible), you might have been excited for the release of the anime (The Rapture) but after a while you kinda just move on to another fandom.

So, this was a winding way to explain this page; my journeys through fandoms or interests I get so into to the point it might as well be religious.
